Private Dining at Prohibition
Hidden inside the original State Bank building, our private dining room offers a more intimate setting for gathering in Camberwell. Tucked away from the main dining room, The Strong Room combines the venue’s history with a refined dining experience designed for smaller groups.
Whether you’re planning a corporate dinner, milestone birthday, business meeting or long lunch with friends, The Strong Room is suited to occasions that deserve a little more privacy without losing the atmosphere Prohibition is known for.
THE STONG ROOM
6 - 12 Guests
Set within the actual former bank strong room, this private space has been transformed into one of the most unique dining experiences at Prohibition. Designed for seated groups of 6 to 12 guests, the room feels exclusive, comfortable and quietly tucked away from the rest of the venue.
The Strong Room is ideal for corporate dining, celebratory dinners, client meetings and private gatherings where good food, wine and conversation take centre stage.
There is no room hire fee. A minimum spend of $800 applies on Fridays and Saturdays, with a $600 minimum spend for the remainder of the week.

Guests dining in The Strong Room can enjoy Prohibition’s seasonal menu alongside an extensive wine list and curated cocktails. From premium steaks and shared dishes to long lunches and formal dinners, the experience can be tailored to suit the occasion.
